AVERY SCHWARTZ

Partner, Investment Team, Consumer and Business Services Lead

Avery Schwartz is a Partner and member of the Investment Team at HMI. Avery leads HMI’s efforts in the consumer and business services sector. Prior to joining the firm in 2019, Avery was an Associate at DigitalBridge, where he focused on private equity and special situation investments across multiple sectors.

Avery serves as a member of the Board of Directors of Yours In Soccer Foundation, a nonprofit corporation whose mission is to empower exceptional student-athletes from underserved communities by leveraging the potential of sports to realize their college dreams.

Avery earned a B.A. in Economics, awarded with Distinction, from Yale University and is a CFA charterholder. While at Yale, Avery played on the varsity soccer team. Originally from Santa Barbara, Avery now lives in San Francisco.
